Avant Tech is looking for a passionate and skilled Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outstanding cardiology team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various cardiovascular conditions. You will be responsible for monitoring patients' health, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments of patients with cardiovascular diseases and conditions.
- Monitor patient vital signs, report any changes, and provide timely interventions.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies accurately and safely.
- Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, lifestyle modifications, and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care services and maintain accurate records in electronic health records.
- Participate in patient care meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Support patients emotionally during their treatment and recovery process.
Requirements
- Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular or critical care setting.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in cardiovascular nursing (i.e., CCRN, CVRN).
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and management of arrhythmias.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and telemetry systems.
