Position: ALLIED-Radiation Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation regulations.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.

• Monitor patient responses to therapy and report any changes.

• Engage in performance metrics to track personal and team success.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient treatment plans.

• Evaluate treatment outcomes and suggest improvements to protocols.

• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment processes.

• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of radiation equipment.

• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on achieving targets.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid radiation therapy license and certification in Virginia.

• Experience in administering radiation therapy and patient care.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulations.

• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork.

• Willingness to engage in a results-driven work environment.

• Ability to monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly.
