Executive Assistant to CEO

Location: Hybrid (Phoenix, AZ)
Schedule:

  • In-person: Tuesdays and Wednesdays

  • Remote: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays
    Salary: $45,000+ DOE annually
    Employment Type: Direct Hire

About Our Client
Our client is a nonprofit organization dedicated to relieving the daily struggles of people with cancer by delivering fresh, healthy meals accompanied by a friendly face. Founded in 2011 by an award-winning chef, the organization honors the legacy of her friend, who inspired its mission through her courageous battle with cancer. This non-profit recently expanded into a new facility to better serve its patrons with meals.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our CEO. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is passionate about making a difference, and can manage complex schedules and communications with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO

  • Manage calendar, travel arrangements, email correspondence, and logistics

  • Coordinate interviews, meetings, and events, including a coalition summit

  • Liaise with legislators, donors, lobbyists, and media contacts

  • Assist with board management, including taking minutes for bi-monthly meetings

  • Conduct research and outreach to potential partners and supporters

  • Support CEO in TV segments, demos, and public appearances

  • Maintain confidentiality and act as a trusted extension of the CEO

  • Build and improve systems and processes to enhance organizational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in executive support, preferably in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing schedules

  • Comfortable with domestic travel and public-facing responsibilities

  • Strong attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information

  • Proficiency in calendar management and project coordination

Impact of the Role
This position plays a critical role in keeping the CEO focused, organized, and aligned with strategic priorities. The Executive Assistant ensures smooth daily operations and helps translate vision into action across the organization.



Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year
