Job Description
This role involves performing framing, sheetrock, and rough carpentry work on a long-term, high-end residential demolition and new construction project. You will contribute to the build-out of luxury residential spaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform framing work for high-end residential construction projects, ensuring structures are level, plumb, and built to specification.
- Install and finish sheetrock in accordance with project plans and high-end residential standards.
- Execute rough carpentry tasks, including constructing walls, ceilings, and other structural elements.
- Lay tracks and related components accurately to support framing and partition systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete daily carpentry tasks.
- Support general construction and labor activities as needed on the project site.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the project.
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Coordinate daily tasks and progress with project leadership and follow direction from on-site project management.
- Contribute to new construction activities in high-end residential environments, maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 5+ years of carpentry experience.
- Proficiency in framing work for residential construction.
- Hands-on experience with sheetrock installation and related tasks.
- Strong background in rough carpentry, including structural and interior components.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Current OSHA 30 certification.
- Current Site Safety Training (SST) certification.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work on active construction sites.
- Reliability in following schedules, instructions, and safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High-end residential construction experience preferred.
- Experience working on demolition and new construction projects.
- Familiarity with high-end finishes and quality standards in residential environments.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and site leadership.

Work Environment
You will work on high-end residential demolition and new construction projects located above 59th Street in New York City. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The job takes place on active construction sites where you will use a variety of hand tools and power tools. The environment requires adherence to OSHA and SST safety standards and consistent use of personal protective equipment. Company-provided hard hats and T-shirts are supplied after one month, contributing to a professional and cohesive on-site appearance. You will collaborate closely with project management and field teams in a structured, safety-focused setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
