Are you a certified Nurse Practitioner with a passion for non-invasive alternatives in healthcare? We are seeking a dynamic and independent Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative osteoarthritis clinic in Denver, CO. Our facility utilizes The Advanced Arthritis Relief Protocol™ which encompasses non-surgical protocols for those suffering from chronic knee pain associated with osteoarthritis.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial exams and consultations with patients to begin care.
- Collect patient blood and order necessary lab panels.
- Fit patients with specialized bracing, providing education on proper fitting, removal, and use of braces.
- Take standard X-rays and utilize fluoroscopy to guide needle for intra-articular injections of hyaluronic acid and PRP
- Assess patient progress and determine whether to discharge or continue treatments as indicated.
- Monitor patient outcomes and collaborate with Physical Therapists to ensure a continuum of care.
- Keep accurate patient records using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Work collaboratively with the billing department to address questions and make coding adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with orthopedic physicians to prepare specific patients for referral, if indicated.
- Manage supply inventory and order replacement supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Colorado.
- Active DEA license
- State of Colorado Registered Fluoroscope Operator
- Completion of preceptorship hours.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with clinic team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with osteoarthritis treatments and protocols preferred.
