We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Crane and Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse environment. Your expertise will ensure smooth shipping and receiving operations, accurate order picking, and safe handling of goods. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized distribution process while maintaining high safety standards and operational excellence.
Schedule
- Monday - Thursday (7:00am-4:30pm)
- Friday (7:00am-12:00pm)
Compensation
- $18/hr - $20/hr based on experience
- Overtime available
Duties
- Operate cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Handle heavy lifting tasks with mechanical knowledge of equipment to prevent damage and ensure safety
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
- Manage materials handling tasks including stacking, sorting, and organizing inventory within the warehouse
- Support warehouse management system updates for inventory tracking, order processing, and stock movements
Crane & Forklift Operator Qualifications:
- HS Diploma preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 CONSECUTIVE years warehouse experience with the same company is a MUST
- Forklift experience is a MUST
- Knowledge of simple math
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk on feet during shift
- Computer Savvy
