Job DescriptionContract Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Rockford or O’Hare area office (hybrid potential)We’re seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our client's staffing goals by sourcing, screening, and onboarding top talent. This contract role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong recruiting expertise, especially in nonprofit or healthcare settings, and offers the flexibility of working onsite in Rockford or O’Hare area office with hybrid potential.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, from job postings to offers
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance
- Source candidates through networking, job boards, and social/professional platforms
- Conduct interviews, coordinate selection processes, and manage background checks
- Support onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Maintain applicant data and ensure compliance with employment laws and HR practices
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (required)
- Experience recruiting in nonprofit or healthcare environments (required)
- Knowledge of EEO, ADA, and employment law
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with HR technology, recruiting platforms, and Microsoft Office
Additional Details:Schedule: Mon-Fri: 8:30am-5pmAfter training, possibility for 2 days in office/3 days remote hybrid schedule. Working out of Rockford or O'Hare area office.
Duration: 13 weeks
