Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level II or III trauma experience and a full certification suite including TNCC.
Details
- Evening shift, 3x12-hour shifts (15:00–03:00)
- Emergency Department setting treating both adult and pediatric patients
- High-volume ER environment (40+ bed ER, 200+ visits/day)
- Level II or III trauma center experience required
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (must be willing to obtain prior to start if not already held)
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a comparable-sized emergency department (40+ beds, 200+ daily visits)
- Level II or III trauma center experience required
- Recent ER travel experience within the past 6–8 months preferred
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions
- Candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products
