Job Title: Payroll/Benefits Assistant
Location: Woodburn, OR
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE)
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Introduction:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established company based in Woodburn, OR to hire a Payroll/Benefits Assistant. This direct hire opportunity is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting HR and payroll operations. In this role, you will help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while assisting with benefit administration and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner

  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable laws

  • Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and communication to employees

  • Coordinate with benefit providers and handle related documentation

  • Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and benefits

  • Support audits and reporting requirements

  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in payroll and/or benefits administration

  • Knowledge of payroll laws and basic HR compliance practices

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion



Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
