Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and hands-on Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. This role is responsible for overseeing all food preparation, production, and kitchen operations across multiple outlets, including banquets, ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, train, schedule, and supervise all kitchen staff to ensure consistent food quality and production standards.

Create innovative menus and new menu items for outlets and banquets, balancing creativity with cost control and client needs.

Maintain a collaborative relationship with the Food & Beverage Director to introduce menu updates reflecting current culinary trends and regional tastes.

Analyze guest feedback and employee suggestions to continuously improve food offerings and service.

Enforce safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in all kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with health code regulations.

Oversee inventory control, purchasing, and storage procedures to maintain consistent quality and minimize waste.

Prepare budgets and forecasts for kitchen operations; monitor and control labor and food costs.

Conduct monthly departmental meetings and daily pre-shift briefings with kitchen staff.

Collaborate with the Engineering team to maintain kitchen equipment.
Qualifications:

High school diploma required; Culinary School certification or degree strongly preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in full-service hotels or restaurants, with strong banquet experience.

Comprehensive knowledge of international and domestic cuisine, menu development, and food trends.

Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Excellent leadership, training, and team development skills.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings based on business needs.

Physical ability to perform the role, including lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in varied temperature environments.
