Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our fast paced Private Practice. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care by preparing examination rooms and ensuring necessary equipment is available.
- Conduct patient intake, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Prepares patients for the physician by taking detailed medical history and verifying information
- Provides education for the patient concerning medication, DME and instructions.
- Wound Care and dressing changes
- Nail Care
- Assist physician with procedures, dressing changes and x-rays.
Schedule: Monday to Friday — No Weekends!
