Job DescriptionOur growing podiatry practice is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide care in nursing home and assisted living facilities throughout Louisiana.
This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys working independently, caring for geriatric patients, and maintaining a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide podiatry-related medical care to nursing home residents
- Perform patient evaluations and follow-up care
- Assist with treatment of common foot and lower extremity conditions
- Complete clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with facility staff and supervising physician
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana NP license
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license required
- Experience in geriatrics, wound care, podiatry, or nursing homes is preferred but not required
- Training available for the right candidate
