Job Description
A health services organization in New Jersey is looking to add a new Lead Actuary, Medicare Advantage, supporting the actuarial bid pricing process and providing analytical insights for Medicare lines of business.
***This is a Remote opportunity.*** 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Support actuarial pricing for the Medicare Advantage bid process and forecasting</li>
<li>Develop internal tools for bid processes and profitability analysis</li>
<li>Conduct forecasting and profitability analysis</li>
<li>Investigate and communicate forecast variances to leadership</li>
<li>Perform ad-hoc analyses as required</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage actuarial bid pricing</li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or related field</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency with SAS or SQL</li>
<li>Expert knowledge of Medicare Advantage bid regulations</li>
<li>Expert knowledge of Excel</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Strong analytical thinking</li>
<li>Good judgment and problem-solving skills</li>
</ul>
Desired Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage actuarial roles</li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or related field</li>
<li>ASA or FSA certification</li>
</ul>
