Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
ProCare Therapy is looking to fill a speech language pathologistopeningin one of our school districts!This is a full-time, on-site position starting next school year, with the option to begin this year if interested.In this roleyou will provide essential support for students K-12, including IEP development and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Identifying speech, language, and communication disorders through evaluations and screenings.
- Individualized Support: Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Therapy Sessions: Providing individual or small group therapy to help students improve speech sounds, language comprehension, expressive language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Classroom Collaboration: Working with teachers to adapt classroom strategies and support students communication in academic settings.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Active Washington SLP license (Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply).
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Experience: School-based experience is preferred but not mandatory.
