Our client in the Seattle, WA location is currently hiring for a Project Manager. This is a hybrid contract opportunity, working a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in the Seattle, WA area with remaining days remote. This role supports public transit and infrastructure projects in a fast‑paced delivery environment.

Pay – $65–$75/hr

Location – Seattle, WA (Hybrid: minimum 3 days onsite)

Schedule – Standard Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

Placement Type – Contract

Duration – 12 months

Responsibilities

• Provide independent management and delivery of assigned construction or engineering projects within a public transit portfolio

• Act as an extension of client staff to lead projects from planning through closeout

• Support state of good repair and capital improvement programs

• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders

• Develop, track, and report on project budgets, schedules, and progress

• Complete required project procedures and documentation

• Prepare materials for procurements, approvals, and related project processes

• Support delivery across Small Works, Job Order Contracting, and capital efforts

• Operate effectively in a fast‑paced public works and transit environment

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading construction or engineering projects

• Experience developing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and quality controls

• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar software

• Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through

Disqualifiers

• Less than 5 years of construction or engineering project management experience

• No experience with budget and schedule tracking

• No experience supporting projects through planning, execution, and closeout phases

• Inability to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
