This role utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care while maintaining professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients. The nurse will assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers and collaborate with various departments to coordinate patient care. Position Details:New Behavioral Health Unit Launching!
*Up to 10 Beds - Adult Unit*
Sign-On Bonuses of up to $10,000 for Experienced RNs!
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: It is the nurse's responsibility to secure and maintain a valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license, fulfilling all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
- Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit or position, including but not limited to:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse)
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)
- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
- Other unit-specific certifications as necessary
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift.
- Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform job duties.
