Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Manager of Compliance & Taxes fora multi-business, multi-state operation based in Pleasanton, CA.
Pay Rate: $120,000–$140,000/year (DOE) + Annual Bonus
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Remote or Onsite (CA HQ)

Duties: The Manager of Compliance & Taxes will oversee tax planning, compliance, audits, and strategic initiatives for multiple entities and states, ensuring accurate filings, operational efficiency, and compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review all federal, state, and local tax filings for multiple entities.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Develop and execute strategic tax planning to minimize liabilities.
• Monitor tax law changes and advise leadership on business impact.
• Manage and respond to IRS and state audits.
• Lead process improvements in tax procedures and compliance tracking.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in tax/accounting with 2+ years in management.
• CPA license and/or master’s in accounting preferred.
• Strong corporate and partnership tax knowledge.
• Skilled in Word, Outlook, Excel; strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel to CA HQ as needed.
