Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for an Interventional Radiologic Technologist in a reputable tertiary hospital located in Dillon, SC. This contract role offers a structured workweek with a Monday through Friday schedule, working five 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role demands strong proficiency in general Interventional Radiology procedures, with neuro IR experience as an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with interventional radiology imaging procedures.
- Manage a daily caseload averaging four cases.
- Participate in on-call rotations alongside two other technologists.
- Work every third weekend as part of the weekend schedule.
- Adhere to facility protocols including radiation safety standards; a radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency.
- Utilize Epic charting systems for documenting patient information.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including emergency response during hurricane season.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in general Interventional Radiology required.
- BLS and ARRT (R) certifications, as well as SCQRS certification, are mandatory.
- Ability to work within a 60-mile radius of the hospital.
- First-time travelers are welcome.
- Must provide own radiation badge; facility does not issue badges to contracted staff.
- Managerial approval is required for block scheduling requests.

- Guaranteed hours with the exception of one possible call-off per two weeks.
- Participation in emergency hurricane response teams may be required during hurricane season (June through November).
