Responsibilities:
The Food Service Manager Primary Responsibility is to ensure patients are provided care by way of many different tasks such as:
Organize and coordinate food service department personnel, work and food production
Supervise resident meal service planning and programs
Plan and coordinate dietary service functions in cooperation with other departments within the facility
Qualifications:
Minium Qualification/Requirements:
Minium of 2 years food service management experience
ServSafe Certification or able to complete ServSafe Certification upon hire
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent education is preferred
Certified Dietary Manager a plus but not required
Verbal and writing abilities necessary to communicate and work effectively with various levels of staff, residents, family members and general public, and for required documentation or reports.
