Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

With four positions open across elementary, middle, and high school settings, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering individualized and inclusive support to students.

Openings include:

• Hilton Head Island Elementary (Intensive Support/Autism)
• Hilton Head Island School for the Creative Arts (Supplemental)
• Hilton Head Island Middle School (Supplemental, Hybrid Support model)
• Hilton Head Island High School (Supplemental)

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid licensure or certification in Special Education
• Proven ability to effectively teach and support students with varying needs, including autism and intensive support requirements
• Experience with supplemental and hybrid support models a plus
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility for contract assignments and a commitment to fostering student growth

Role responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to meet students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success
• Employ a variety of teaching techniques adapted for individual learning styles
• Maintain detailed progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive
