ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Product Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Product Team and representing your region to bring regional insights and driving relevant products through the New Product Process. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including new product development, supplier onboarding, product validation, and ensuring seamless communication within the team. Your meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to the successful execution of these tasks.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a brand champion, ensuring global consistency in accordance with brand guidelines and messaging across all channels and countries
- Supporting the product team with new product development(non-software related)
- Project management and ensuring that actions and deadline are met
- Review and improvement of NPD processes(non-software related)
- Ownership of Product stages of NPD process(non-software related)
- Collaborating with Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, Operations teams
- Attention to detail and proactive approach
- Agreeing upcoming products priority and configuration with Sales team
- Attending the cadence of meetings to agree product submissions with Quality and Regulatory team and planning accordingly to meet deadlines.
- Ensuring complete and accurate Product Information product launches.
- Regional reporting and updates as required
- Review regional sales data to analyse market trends to identify new opportunities and ideas.
- In-region mystery shopping and Research for competitor review.
- Complete Product setup and registration in internal systems and third parties(non-software related)
- Preparation of correspondence, presentations, and reports
- Support for the Sourcing team on Relationship Management with Suppliers
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a product, marketing, or project support role
- Experience supporting New Product Development (NPD) processes, including pre-sales stages and product launch readiness (non-software related)
- Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage timelines, cross-functional communication, and critical paths
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving workflows and maintaining accurate product documentation
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Technical Expertise
- A minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in product management role, preferably within a start-up or scale up environment.
Special Aptitudes
- Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite
- Experience within a fast-paced and high energy environment
- An aptitude for executing business improvement initiatives
- Experience troubleshooting problems and providing recommendations on overcoming challenges
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
- Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Excellent judgment is essential.
