Location: Remote with occasional onsite meetings in Washington, DC Department: Administrative - DC Contracts
Reports To: DCEI Clinical Lead and DCPS Clinical Lead Employment Type: To be determined upon offer (Full-Time, Part-Time, or Contractor)
What You'll Do:
- Support onboarding processes for new DC contract staff, including systems setup, background clearances, and training
- Schedule multidisciplinary evaluations (MDEs) and assist with therapist caseload coordination
- Ensure staff maintain active DC licensure and DCPS clearance
- Coordinate provider credentialing with Medicaid MCOs and submit partner updates within 24 hours
- Track MDE components, billing documents, and training attendance
- Run weekly billing verifications and resolve discrepancies quickly
- Maintain documentation compliance and support insurance/referral tracking
- Attend and contribute to monthly vendor and internal meetings
About the Role:
National Therapy Center is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized DC Contracts Administrative Coordinator to support the success of our District of Columbia Early Intervention (DCEI) and DC Public Schools (DCPS) contracts. This dual-support role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth onboarding, credentialing, scheduling, billing, and compliance for our clinical staff serving families and students across Washington, DC.
As the administrative backbone for these programs, you will work closely with clinical leads, external partners, and internal teams to keep essential operations running efficiently and in full compliance. What You Bring:
- Availability Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM EST
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel (pivot tables, sorting, formulas)
- At least 2 years of experience in contract administration (DCPS/DCEI experience a strong plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Remote work experience; knowledge of ClinicSource, PowerSchool, or Strong Start is a plus
