Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Insurance Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, building lasting client relationships, and providing tailored insurance solutions to meet commercial clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and digital outreach.
- Conduct client consultations to understand their business operations and insurance requirements.
- Present and explain insurance policy options, coverage, and pricing.
- Prepare and deliver customized insurance proposals.
- Negotiate terms and close new business.
- Maintain knowledge of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospects in a CRM system.
- Develop strong relationships with underwriters and carrier partners.
- Provide ongoing service to existing clients, including policy renewals and modifications.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to grow business and stay informed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or B2B sales (minimum [2-5] years preferred).
- Must have or obtain license during first 60 days.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages (e.g., general liability, property, workers’ compensation, commercial auto, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
