Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services across multiple school settings, spanning kindergarten through 12th grade. Serving students in elementary through high school, the role involves delivering direct speech therapy and conducting evaluations to support student communication development and academic success.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized speech-language therapy to students from K-12 across diverse educational settings.
- Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to identify student needs.
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement effective communication supports.
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and district standards.
- Managing caseloads across various school locations to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure is required.
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and high school environments.
- Strong clinical and evaluative skills in school-based speech therapy.
- Ability to navigate multiple locations to fulfill service commitments effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Multiple locations are available, offering flexibility to combine assignments to create a full-time equivalent (FTE) schedule:
- Palmetto Ridge High School (3 days per week)
- Pinecrest Elementary in Immokalee (1 day per week)
- Lake Trafford in Immokalee (1 day per week)
- Highlands Elementary in Immokalee (1 to 5 days per week)
- Golden Terrace in Golden Gate City (2 to 3 days per week)
