\n\nRequired Qualifications – Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech\n
- \n
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer performing diagnostic echocardiography\n
- Current certification as a Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent preferred)\n
- Proficiency in 2-dimensional, color Doppler, and spectral Doppler echocardiograms\n
- Experience with exercise, pharmacologic (dobutamine) and stress echocardiograms\n
- Ability to perform and interpret non-imaging continuous Doppler studies\n
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and pathology\n
- Skill in reviewing patient charts and obtaining pertinent clinical history prior to imaging\n
- Must meet onboarding health, background, and credentialing requirements for hospital-based travel assignments\n
\n\nResponsibilities – Echocardiography & Cardiac Ultrasound\n

- Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms, including 2D, color and spectral Doppler\n
- Conduct and assist with stress and dobutamine echocardiography studies\n
- Perform portable/bedside echo studies and ensure proper equipment mobilization and care\n
- Interpret and analyze test performance and results; identify cardiac abnormalities and flag urgent findings\n
- Communicate preliminary findings to supervising physicians and house officers in a timely manner\n
- Review patient charts, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging\n
- Record, document, and prepare accurate, detailed echo reports for the medical record\n
- Maintain cleanliness, calibration, and reliability of ultrasound equipment and related instruments\n
