Job DescriptionSalary:
Hunt Electric, Inc.is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer in our manufacturing division, ICC. This position will work closely with our manufacturing and production teams to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for testing, inspection, and the analytical ability to problem solve quality issues while increasing more accurate productivity on completed projects.
Major Duties:
- Develop, implement, and monitor in-process inspections, control plans, and quality metrics. Ensure adherence to electrical manufacturing standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve product or process defects.
- Perform supplier quality assessments and audits; manage supplier nonconformances and improvements.
- Interpret and apply statistical process control (SPC), perform control charting, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and engineering teams to drive quality improvements and validate new processes or product changes.
- Support compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and facilitate internal and external quality audits.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a Can-Do positive attitude.
- Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
Ability to work overtime weekend/evenings based on production needs.- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on the production floor.
- Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with quality systems, inspection methods, and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) practices is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and follow-through.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 6:00am 4:30pm.
