We’re looking for a Patient Care Coordinator who will play an essential role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional service and care throughout their journey with us.
What You’ll Do:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll be essential in creating a seamless, patient-focused experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Answer Incoming Calls: Respond to patient inquiries with a friendly and professional demeanor, answer questions, schedule appointments, and resolve any issues.
- Prior Authorization Management: Secure prior authorizations from insurance companies for treatments, procedures, and medications — a key part of ensuring our patients receive timely care.
- Coordinate Medical Records: Contact referring doctor offices via phone and fax to request medical records and ensure they’re received promptly.
- Schedule Appointments: Manage patient consultations, follow-ups, and visits, ensuring that schedules are optimized and patients are seen on time.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Document and monitor patient vital signs, communicating with the medical team when necessary for follow-up care.
- Contact Management System: Work with our contact management system to track prospective patients, moving them through our pipeline efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
We need an organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives on problem-solving. If you have prior authorization experience and are passionate about patient care, this is the perfect role for you. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Prior Authorization Experience: Two years of experience working with insurance companies to secure prior authorizations for treatments, procedures, and medications.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and healthcare providers, especially over the phone.
- Attention to Detail: You’ll need to manage multiple tasks with precision — from scheduling appointments to handling sensitive patient data.
- Experience with Contact Management Systems: Experience with CRM or similar systems to track and manage prospective patients through our pipeline.
