Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Stepdown unit
- Monitor and interpret patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment processes and discharge planning
- Uphold all facility standards, protocols, and patient safety measures
