At United Performance Metals' bustling Advanced Solutions Center, we are on the lookout for a dedicated Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) Operator to become an integral part of our first shift crew. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Embark on a journey at an hourly wage of $21-$23, reflective of your professional experience.
Working Hours: Monday through Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm
Location: Hamilton, OH – This role requires on-site presence.

In this pivotal role, you'll:
- Apply your deep understanding of customer tech specs to guide machination programming
- Adeptly set up, run, and troubleshoot the machinery’s operations to adhere to exacting tolerances
- Scrutinize and measure output, identifying any flaws and ensuring precision; make necessary adjustments to control production errors
- Utilize your acute problem-solving skills to inspect and repair our machinery effectively
- Engage in other related tasks as assigned

Your skills that fuel success:
- Over 2 years of hands-on experience in operating or programming manual to automated machining tools
- Proficiency in setting up and utilizing measuring devices such as CMM, CAD-CAM, micrometers, etc.
- Mastery in blueprint and design sketch interpretation
- Expertise in developing and updating machining processes
- Familiarity with production planning environments in various operational settings
