We have an urgent opening for an Engagement Manager based in Santa Clara. This role requires in-office work four days a week and offers a competitive salary for the Bay Area.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Planning experience, Engineering degree is required
This person will be supporting our stakeholders with VTA and BART.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing the Construction Education and Outreach Plan.
- Supporting the development, approval, and implementation of Construction Transportation Management Plans, which involves stakeholder coordination, community outreach, and public meetings.
- Coordinating, interpreting, and effectively presenting technical information in areas such as access planning, station area planning, and station design and layouts.
- Facilitating tours of the project alignment and construction sites as needed.
- Managing the project website portal, including document management, graphics support, and technical services.
- Providing professional facilitator services on an on-call basis for necessary project services and programs, including Community Working Groups, stakeholders, outside agencies, internal program staff, and contractors as requested by the rail client.
- Supporting the preparation and facilitation of workshops, tours, and other on-site visits.
Provide facilitation of tours of the project alignment as well as construction sites as needed. Assist with planning and implementing public events including milestone events to support Tunnel Boring Machine launch and station construction.
Prepare materials (including memorandums and PowerPoint presentations) necessary for information or action by VTA Board of Directors, committees, or other internal/external stakeholders.
Provide assistance in reporting engagement related environmental compliance activities as requested.
