Job Description
The Manager, Global Commercial Communications will be responsible for supporting commercial executive communications and employee engagement programs that maintain a shared culture and strategic vision across the Therapeutic and International Business Units, including the development and implementation of a global internal communication strategy. The position requires collaboration with external and internal agencies, Corporate Communications, Business Unit Communications and franchise communicators to enhance employee engagement through innovative storytelling and strategic communication initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishes and carries through the execution of an aligned Cross-Therapeutic Business Unit and International Business Unit internal communications strategy
- Provides exceptional executive communications and content creation for executive commercial leaders, including writing scripts, talking points, and employee emails
- Writes, edits and coordinates business-unit-wide message cascades, distributing emails via StaffBase to broad internal audiences, and tracks associated metrics
- Manages all planning logistics for Town Halls, including liaising with internal business partners, production agencies and other stakeholders to ensure event is flawlessly executed
- Creates and executes content strategy for Commercial Operations Sharepoint site
- Coordinates regular touchpoints and alignment for Commercial Communicators Council, working closely with all commercial communicators to ensure consistency and connection across enterprise
- Ideates & creates creative internal campaigns featuring patient stories, leader profiles, etc. to engage global commercial employees
- Leads communications for commercial awards cycle
- Reviews and approves requests for external speaking engagements, partnering with Corporate Affairs colleagues to ensure adherence to guardrails
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, with a proven record of driving internal, executive and/or strategic communications initiatives.
- excellent communication skills (written and verbal) across a variety of mediums and stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders, influence without authority, and navigate complexities in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to intended outcomes, iterating or changing course when required.
- Strong business acumen and project management skills with an ability to anticipate team, function, and business unit needs.
- Content creation skills preferred
- A highly organized, creative, collaborative, self-starter with an interest and ability to learn quickly.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. Salary:$106,500-$202,500
