We're hiring a Structural Steel Machine Operator for our 2nd shift — a 4-day work week with a shift differential on top of your base pay, and every morning and every Friday to yourself.

The Details
- Starting pay: $20.00–$23.00/hr depending on experience
- Shift differential: +$2.00/hr — bringing your effective rate to $22–$25/hr
- Hours: Mon–Thu, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
- Schedule: 4-day work week — Fridays always off
What You'll Do
- Pull material and run it through processing equipment accurately and efficiently
- Load, operate, monitor, and tend machines in accordance with job specs and safety standards
- Check programs against drawings and job specifications before and during production runs
- Accurately measure material and finished parts using a tape measure to 1/16" precision — this is a daily requirement, not an occasional one
- Perform basic preventive maintenance to keep equipment running at its best
- Inspect finished work for quality and report any deviations promptly
- Support the crew and help keep production on schedule
- Follow all safety and ISO procedures — every shift, no exceptions
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience operating structural steel or industrial equipment
- Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16" accuracy — this is a non-negotiable requirement for this role
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and job specifications
- Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Safety-focused, reliable, and a solid team player
- Clear communicator who takes responsibility and ownership of their work
- Able to work independently and stay on task without constant supervision
- Available and committed to a consistent 2nd shift, 4-day schedule
