A specialized home infusion pharmacy in Apex, NC is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician with a strong sterile compounding background. This full-time opportunity is a 13-week contract with the potential for direct hire. Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm
Candidates should be flexible to stay later if needed based on business demands.

Key Duties:

• Prepare sterile compounds in a clean room environment

• Maintain clean room conditions and follow all USP <797> standards

• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of compounded medications

• Support the pharmacy team with daily clean room prep and equipment maintenance

• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure safe and accurate preparation of home infusion therapies

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license

• Recent sterile compounding experience (home infusion or hospital setting)

• Previous experience in home infusion or inpatient pharmacy required

• PTCB certification is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to sterile technique standards
