Location: Houston, TX 77043
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.63/hour
Work Arrangement: Remote, but can be hybrid if local.
Dress Code: Business Casual
Position Summary:
The Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and maintaining system-wide compliance programs within a clinical healthcare setting. This position is responsible for overseeing clinical documentation and reporting, supporting internal and external audits, and promoting adherence to regulatory and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about supporting compliance, quality, and continuous improvement across clinical operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Track, maintain, and report weekly dictation logs to ensure timely completion of clinical documentation

Compile and analyze data from Practice Management (PM) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to support internal and external audits

Assist with bi-annual QOPI audits and ongoing monitoring of Chemotherapy Safety Standards in collaboration with the Nurse Manager

Attend monthly compliance committee meetings and accurately record and maintain meeting minutes

Assist in the development of tools to monitor compliance activities and identify trends

Conduct medical record audits and trend analysis related to coding and documentation

Support internal compliance reviews and departmental monitoring efforts

Assist in staff education and training initiatives related to compliance requirements

Promote collaboration and open communication to ensure clinic personnel remain aligned with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of medical terminology

Prior experience working in compliance within a healthcare organization
