Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks an Occupational Therapist specialized in school-based therapy to support a wide-ranging student population in Union, NE. This position is a contract role running from August 6, 2026, through May 15, 2027, with an approximate 40-hour workweek.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to approximately 40 students across various age groups.
- Work within multiple school buildings district-wide, offering tailored interventions.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student participation and success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Participate in team meetings to coordinate care and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license.
- Experience providing OT services in a school setting.
- Ability to manage a full caseload with diverse student needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with school-based intervention strategies and compliance standards.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday.
- Daily hours from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM.
Location: Union, Nebraska (district-wide schools).
