North Pacific Medical Center, a well-established family practice clinic in beautiful Kodiak, Alaska, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician to join our team. We are a small, community-centered clinic that values high-quality, patient-focused care and a collaborative, supportive work environment.
About the Role
The provider will deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in an outpatient family medicine setting. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing both acute and chronic conditions, enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and appreciates the independence and variety that come with practicing in a rural community.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum family practice care, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, and acute visits
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure efficient, patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (Aprima)
- Participate in care coordination
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Alaska license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license (or eligibility)
- Board certification (FNP, PA-C, MD, or DO)
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
