Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 educational setting located in Clinton Township, MI. This contract position runs from August 28th through May and offers a daily schedule of 3-4 hours, ideal for professionals seeking a balanced workload within the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines for educational and therapeutic services.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with experience or specialization in pediatrics.
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) preferred or currently fulfilling CFY requirements.
- Experience working in school settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
