Community Eldercare Services (CES) is looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team!

Assistant Director of Nursing duties include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate commitment to the CES mission, vision, and values
  • Plan, organize, and implement ongoing staff education and in-service training
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, orientation, and training of nursing staff
  • Track training attendance to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Oversee Nursing Services in the absence of the Director of Nursing
  • Monitor unit activities, evaluate performance, and provide coaching or discipline as needed
  • Participate in resident assessments and delivery of care
  • Conduct regular rounds to ensure quality resident care
  • Assist with infection control oversight and QAPI compliance
  • Communicate with residents, families, and management regarding resident status
  • Support associate relations to promote morale and retention
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or university program certificate required
  • 2–4 years related experience required (charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred)
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State
  • CPR – BLS certification required
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
