Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking dedicated special education professionals to support students in a welcoming district in the northern suburbs of Denver. Opportunities are available in a smaller, student-focused community with approximately 7,000 students across 16 locations. Open contract roles span K-12 grades, covering both mild-moderate and moderate-severe classroom settings. Candidates will join supportive teams committed to making a difference for learners with a range of needs. Assignments require a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License and involve case management, direct instruction, and individualized student support.
Available Positions:
- Special Education Generalist/Resource Teacher (grades 9-12, Mild-Moderate; York International School; caseload: 30-40)
- Special Education Generalist/Resource Teacher (grades K-8, Mild-Moderate; Explore PK-8; caseload: 30-40)
- Inclusive Learning Community (ILC) Center-Based Classroom Teacher (grades 4-8, Moderate-Severe, Autism Spectrum focus; Global Intermediate Academy; caseload: 10)
- Inclusive Learning Community (ILC) Center-Based Classroom Teacher (grades K-3, Moderate-Severe, Developmental Delay focus; Meadow Community School; caseload: 10)
What You'll Need:
- Valid (or in-process) CDE Special Education License—status of application must be shared at submission
- CPI training is an advantage; district offers CPI training for all contractors
- Willingness to facilitate both in-person and virtual interviews as needed
- Enthusiasm for relocation (for travel candidates), with updated relocation status
