Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Join the Pain and Disability Institute PC as a Medical Receptionist in Jersey City, NJ! Be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in providing exceptional care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries via phone and in-person.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Process insurance verifications and handle billing inquiries.
  • Assist with administrative tasks to support medical staff and enhance patient experience.
  • Coordinate with medical professionals to streamline office workflow.
  • GET COPAYMENTS AND DEDUCTIBLES FROM PATIENTS
  • GETTING AUTHORIZATION FOR PROCEDURES AND TREATMENT

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or reception role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
  • Proficient in using office software and electronic health records systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
