Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 academic year at a K-12 public school in Tempe, AZ. This contract position serves students in grades 9-12 and runs from July 23, 2025, through May 28, 2026. The role requires hands-on, onsite instruction Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering individualized instruction tailored to approximately 15 high school students with special needs, focusing on math curriculum. The ideal candidate will develop accommodations and modifications to meet diverse learning styles and abilities while collaborating with fellow educators and support staff to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Special Education certification with full SPED qualification
  • Valid certification in Math education
  • Experience working with high school students (grades 9-12) in special education settings
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to design and implement differentiated instruction plans aligned with state standards

Location: Onsite in Tempe, Arizona
