Qualifications:

Required:

• High School/GED
• Over 1 year of experience in any of the following:
  • Skilled Nursing Facility Care
  • Senior Care
  • Home Health
• Any of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
• Any of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Pennsylvania (PA)
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Pennsylvania (PA)

Key Responsibilities:

• Carries out the medical plan of care and oversees the Nursing Assistants' care of residents
• Administers and records medication, treatments, and monitoring as ordered
• Accurately transcribes physicians' orders
• Completes monthly summaries and updates care plans
• Notifies the RN Supervisor of significant changes in residents' condition
• Assists physicians with rounds, examinations, and treatments
• Supervises and directs resident care by nursing assistants
• Documents weights and vital signs, and follows up as needed
• Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy environment

Schedule and Shift Details:

• Nights 600 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
• Two days on
• Two days off
• Three days on
• An 84-hour biweekly pay period
• Rotating Weekends
