Currently, we are primarily servicing the pediatric population between the ages of 3 and 17 years old. However, with continued growth, we are looking to expand our services to treat patients throughout the lifespan. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The chosen candidate will work in a home health setting primarily with pediatric patients, providing personalized and effective occupational therapy services. Responsibilities:
- Implement therapeutic activities to address clients' developmental goals.
- Collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide family education and support to ensure effective carryover of therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress.
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona State License as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Article 9 Certification
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Previous experience working with pediatric clients is preferred
