Job DescriptionWe are looking for a proactive Inventory Specialist to join our team in Johnston, Rhode Island. This is a long-term contract opportunity that requires strong organizational skills and an ability to manage day-to-day inventory operations effectively. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in warehouse management, customer service, and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the implementation of onsite inventory processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform accounting tasks related to purchase orders (PO) and accounts payable (AP).
• Track inventory levels and shipments to maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with team members to address customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.
• Utilize Oracle systems to manage inventory and streamline processes.
• Generate reports and charts to monitor inventory trends and performance.
• Handle clerical duties such as documentation and data entry to support inventory operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during inventory management.
• Leverage ERP systems to optimize inventory workflows and resolve issues.• Prior experience in warehouse inventory management is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in Oracle systems and other ERP software.
• Familiarity with purchase order creation and accounts payable processes.
• Demonstrated ability to track shipments and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Skilled in creating charts, graphs, and reports for inventory analysis.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and clerical abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
