Addison Group, in partnership with our client in the entertainment industry seeks a Senior Accountant in Irvine, CA to join their team.
 
Compensation/Benefits�� Salary range can increase up to $110,000/year depending on qualifications. Our client supplements base compensation with health and wellness benefits.
 
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Perform month-end close tasks, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cost center analysis</li>
<li>Support month-end close processes for international subsidiaries</li>
<li>Manage accruals, fixed assets, and other assigned accounts</li>
<li>Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures</li>
<li>Collaborate with third-party accounting firms and internal departments to ensure accurate reporting</li>
<li>Identify process improvement opportunities and implemented changes to enhance efficiency</li>
<li>Prepare documentation for external audit requests</li>
<li>Assist with monthly sales and use tax filings</li>
<li>Contribute to special projects, data analysis, and reporting for management</li>
</ul>
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
<ul>
<li>Bachelors� Degree in Accounting</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years� experience in accounting</li>
<li>Ability to organize time and tasks efficiently with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li>
