Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in a public school setting located in Wilkes Barre, PA. This contract position spans the current school year with a start date as soon as possible. The role offers consistent hours and direct engagement with a diverse caseload of children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure and valid Pennsylvania Teaching Clearances
- Experience working in school settings preferred; SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage students of various ages
