We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation and Calibration Technician to join our team. This role involves performing calibration, preventive maintenance, and validations (Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ)) for laboratory equipment used in critical environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform technical diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and customer satisfaction. Products include centrifuges, ultra-pure water systems, ovens, incubators, biosafety cabinets, and particle counters.
 - Provide daily updates to supervisors detailing the status of ongoing, completed, and scheduled services.
 - Submit daily reports to the service coordinator with insights on completed services, including any required follow-ups or parts needed.
 - Conduct IQ, OQ, and PQ validation protocols for laboratory instruments.
 - Document legibly and accurately all work performed and submit completed documentation to office personnel in accordance with company policies.
 - Train end-users on proper equipment operation and maintenance, serving as a knowledgeable technical advisor for laboratory instrumentation.
 - Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure clarity on the status, cost, and timing of all service activities.
 - Ensure customer satisfaction through excellence in repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance services.
 - Adhere to established protocols, procedures, and quality standards to support the Quality System and Quality Policy.
 - Provide courteous and professional responses to technical issues, ensuring timely resolution of customer concerns.
 - Collaborate with sales representatives by advising on potential sales opportunities within customer accounts.
 - Continuously expand knowledge of laboratory equipment through training and education.
 - Assist the Quality Department by creating and maintaining records that meet regulatory requirements.
 - Work closely with management to ensure timely scheduling of service work and support all company service needs.
 
Qualifications
- Experience in servicing laboratory instrumentation, including calibration and validation expertise.
 - Strong technical and problem-solving skills in diagnostics and equipment repair.
 - Knowledge of GMP requirements and familiarity with quality systems.
 - Ability to provide exceptional customer service with clear communication.
 - Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
 - Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
