We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – MICU for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity hospital setting. This opportunity is ideal for ICU nurses with strong critical care experience who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Details

• Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Duration: 13 Weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the MICU
• Monitor, assess, and manage patients with complex medical conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system
• Float to ICU units and Emergency Department holds as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Critical Care/ICU experience
• Previous permanent ICU experience required prior to travel assignments
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• AHA ACLS Certification required
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills

Preferred Qualifications

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification preferred
• Previous experience in multiple ICU settings preferred
