Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

RPh on the Go, is urgently hiring a Travel Pharmacy Technician for a 13+ week assignment in the Albany, NY area. This role is based in a cancer center infusion pharmacy setting, and we are looking for a technician with strong experience in IV admixture, especially with chemotherapy medications.

The position requires flexibility to float between a few nearby oncology pharmacy sites (within ~20 miles), so reliable transportation is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a high-level oncology setting and work with a respected cancer care network.

Position Details:

Start Date: ASAP (as early as next week)
Schedule: Monday Friday, day shift (approx. 8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Duration: 13 weeks with potential extension
Environment: Infusion pharmacy with a focus on chemotherapy admixture
Float Requirement: Must be willing and able to travel between nearby pharmacy sites

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare and compound IV chemotherapy medications with precision and care
Maintain cleanroom and sterile compounding standards
Support pharmacists and clinical teams in day-to-day operations

Requirements:

Strong experience with sterile IV admixture, particularly chemo
PTCB certification highly preferred
Reliable transportation and willingness to float between locations
NY Pharmacy Technician license not required
