Description:

As a Hospice Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Surplus, you are one of the most vital components of the Interdisciplinary Team! You will be ready and available to support our patients and team members by reporting to the office each day in a stand-by capacity and effectively interact with all members of the Interdisciplinary Team while maintaining the highest standards of care and professional nursing clinical competency.



This role will have the same basic duties as our Hospice Aides (CNAs) on the field with the following additions:

  • Will have a guaranteed schedule of 40 hours/week.
  • May not always have a complete schedule but will be in the office to be utilized.
  • Be present at the office every morning ready to be assigned as needed.
  • Fill in for vacation or call-out coverage.
  • Secondary CNA is available for a two person assist.
  • Assist Volunteer Coordinator
  • Available for assistance with special events
  • Clean the office
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current CNA License in the State of Georgia
  • Current CPR & First Aid Certification
  • 1-2 years hospice experience (other candidates may be considered with experience in assisted living, home health, long term care)
  • Utmost compassion & integrity
  • Drivers license, insurance and vehicle
  • Excellent Time Management Skills
  • The ideal candidate would live in or around the Dade or Walker County area
